UFC President Dana White Confirms March 9 Date for UFC 299
UFC President Dana White has confirmed that UFC 299 will take place on March 9, 2023, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The main event will feature a highly anticipated rematch between Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera for the UFC Bantamweight Title.
UFC 299 will be the first UFC event to be held at the Kaseya Center, which has a capacity of 19,600. Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public on January 20, 2023.
O'Malley and Vera first met at UFC 252 in August 2020, with O'Malley winning by unanimous decision. However, Vera has since gone on a three-fight winning streak, including a submission victory over Dominick Cruz in his last fight. O'Malley, meanwhile, is unbeaten in his last four fights and is ranked No. 1 in the UFC bantamweight rankings.
