Format:
The 2024 SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament will feature eight teams competing for the final four spots in the NBA playoffs. The teams will be seeded 7th through 10th in each conference based on their regular season records.
The tournament will consist of two rounds. In the first round, the 7th and 8th seeds from each conference will face off in single-elimination games. The winners of those games will advance to the second round, where they will face the 9th and 10th seeds, respectively.
The winners of the second round will earn the final two playoff spots in each conference.
Teams to Watch
Several teams are expected to be in contention for the play-in tournament in 2024. Some of the top contenders include:
